Our Philosophy
| “Sharing skills, redirecting the flow of benefits and transforming the tourism footprint” |
We select our projects based on the fundamental principles of responsible tourism development by:
- applying positive private enterprise principles to rural tourism development
- encouraging private sector business linkages with community entrepreneurs
- applying triple bottom line principles and rural livelihood diversification strategies
- implementing tourism training programmes that are underpinned by appropriate mentoring in the workplace
- stimulating and supporting entrepreneurial activity in communities
- enhancing localised benefits of tourism

What We Do

Our focus areas include, but are not limited to, tourism development planning, pro-poor tourism strategies, the identification and establishment of partnership and business linkage opportunities, training, tourism SMME development, product audits and assessments, certification and rural livelihood strategies relating to local economic development.
